3D floors in the interior

For those who choose flooring, the question remains how relevant is the use of 3D-technology in any room other than the bathroom. At the present stage, the scope of their application is much wider than is commonly thought.

They are able to harmoniously fit into the atmosphere of not only the bathroom, but also the kitchen, living room, bedroom or nursery. Such a floor not only differs in a presentable appearance, but also surpasses other coatings due to its functionality, as mentioned above.

It is necessary to choose an image, focusing on the style of the room, personal taste preferences. In addition, you should take into account your goals for changing space (dividing into several zones, increasing or decreasing the size of a room, etc.). The style direction determines a certain concept, which includes several elements, including a color palette.

Remember that following individual characteristics is more important than following fashion trends and using current trends. Everyone wants to relax at home and feel comfortable, so the atmosphere in the apartment or cottage should correspond to the personal taste of the owner.

This is the most common option, and its popularity is due to a number of reasons. The first - for the bathroom, volumetric images of sea inhabitants, lagoons, waves and the coast are most suitable. This not only makes spending time in the bathroom more enjoyable, but also helps to maintain interest in the picture, which you do not have to look at all the time. The second reason is the resistance of the coating to moisture and temperature jumps. In addition, the small size of the bathroom allows you to complete the task without significant investment.

Different themes are suitable for the kitchen, so you can experiment. The main requirement for the image is that it should not discourage appetite, but also not contribute to too strong a desire to eat. 3D images will initially look where there is a dining area. In this situation, the pattern is used for zoning the room.

Self-leveling floors in the bedroom is an exquisite option that will cost a lot, but it will definitely be worth the effort and investment. The polymer coating should be in harmony with the interior and look organically against the background of any design elements. When choosing a picture, it is recommended to give preference to unobtrusive drawings in a calm color scheme. You must admit that steep mountain slopes with cracks, volcanoes with burning lava - this is not what you want to see every day before bedtime.

The advantages of bulk floors

This technology, despite the relatively short existence in our market, has gained considerable popularity, due to the large number of advantages of this flooring:

- Longevity of operation. Proper installation, the use of quality materials, as well as the absence of seams - this is a guarantee of a long service life of the coating. They are able to survive up to fifty years without losing a presentable appearance.

- Smooth surface. After pouring, the floors will become really smooth, even if before that you have encountered the problem of imperfect coverage.

- No cracks. Self-leveling floors differ from tiles in that they are less susceptible to mechanical damage, even when heavy objects are dropped.

- The cleanliness of the coating. They do not accumulate dirt, do not collect dust particles and harmful microorganisms.

- Environmentally friendly. Do not emit harmful components, and also do not cause allergic reactions. Made from safe, non-flammable materials.

- Durability. Floors made of high-quality material are resistant to moisture and various liquids, temperature changes, sunlight. They do not fade, and the picture will not deform over time.

The above characteristics contribute to the demand for bulk (polymer) floors. However, please note that a significant amount of time will be required for proper installation.

How to install bulk floors

The attractiveness of such coatings may give the impression that the implementation of such technologies is accompanied by great difficulties. In fact, the process is rather expensive, but not at all complicated, the main thing is the observance of all stages, each of which we will consider in more detail.

Stage number 1. We prepare and level the base.

There are several options that depend on the material. If we are dealing with a wooden base, it is necessary to dismantle the skirting boards, remove traces of varnish and glue, and clean the floor from contamination using a special industrial vacuum cleaner. Next, you need to eliminate excess moisture, which can prevent the installation of high-quality coating (should be no more than 10% humidity). As a rule, the floors are degreased using powder, and then mixtures are applied for leveling.

If laid on concrete, the percentage of moisture should be no more than four. The base must be cleaned of dust and dirt, leveled and sanded. It is possible to lay floors on a tile, and on concrete, and on wood. The main condition is effective leveling and proper surface preparation, regardless of the material.

Stage number 2. Apply a primer.

Clean and even floors must be primed. When it dries, the coating needs to be smoothed again in order to prepare for drawing the image.

Stage number 3. Apply a base coat.

A polymer layer must be applied to the prepared surface. Such a solution should be poured, starting from the far wall. This is done in strips, and no more than five minutes should pass between two neighboring ones. To distribute the solution, you need to take a needle-coated roller or a large spatula. It is recommended to observe a layer thickness of 3 mm.

Stage number 4. We apply a drawing.

The image (photographic fabric) must be glued using a small coating layer, or without it, if the base is self-adhesive.

Stage number 5. Finish layer.

Drawings are required to be coated with polyurethane varnish, epoxy resin or other finish products. After this, the floors should dry out, and, as a rule, a week is needed for complete drying, but you can carefully walk through them after 12 hours.
